ABOUT AMP TESTING
A team of certified electrical testing professionals dedicated to keeping the power utility industry safe and reliable.
SAFETY, PRECISION, RELIABILITY
AMP Testing was founded on a simple premise: the power utility industry deserves a testing partner that takes safety and technical quality as seriously as the operators who run these facilities every day. Too many testing firms treat commissioning as a checkbox exercise — a formality before energization. We treat it as the last line of defense between a successful project and a catastrophic failure.
Our roots are in the field. Our leadership team has spent decades working alongside utility engineers, plant operators, and EPC contractors on some of the most demanding electrical projects in the country — from 500kV transmission substations and nuclear auxiliary systems to utility-scale solar farms and BESS installations. That experience shapes everything we do: how we plan test programs, how we train our technicians, and how we communicate with clients under pressure.
Over more than five years, we have built a team of certified technicians and engineers who bring genuine expertise to every project. We do not cut corners, we do not rush through test procedures, and we do not deliver results we are not confident in. Every report we issue reflects the full rigor of NETA, IEEE, and NFPA 70E standards — because our clients depend on those results to make critical energization decisions.
Our clients — power plant operators, utility engineers, solar developers, and EPC contractors — trust us because we have earned that trust through consistent performance on hundreds of projects across the full spectrum of power infrastructure. We show up prepared, we communicate proactively, and we stand behind our work.
With over 300,000 manhours worked across our projects, we have maintained a zero safety incident record — a testament to our unwavering commitment to NFPA 70E compliance and safe work practices on every job site.
CORE VALUES
Safety
Safety is not a checkbox — it is the foundation of everything we do. Every AMP Testing employee is trained to NFPA 70E standards, and we never compromise on arc flash protection, lockout/tagout, or safe work practices.
Integrity
We report what we find, accurately and completely. Our clients depend on our test results to make critical decisions about their equipment. We never shade results to avoid difficult conversations.
Expertise
Electrical testing is a specialized discipline that requires deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience. Our team includes certified technicians with decades of experience across all voltage classes and equipment types.
Reliability
We show up when we say we will, we deliver what we promise, and we stand behind our work. Our clients trust us with their most critical infrastructure because we have earned that trust over hundreds of successful projects.
TEAM EXPERTISE
Our team combines decades of field experience with rigorous technical training and industry certification.

OUR ZERO-INCIDENT COMMITMENT
In over 5 years of operation and 115+ projects, AMP Testing has maintained a perfect safety record — zero recordable incidents. This is not an accident. It is the result of a culture where safety is genuinely valued, not just talked about.
Every AMP Testing employee has the authority — and the responsibility — to stop work if they observe an unsafe condition. No schedule pressure, no client expectation, and no commercial consideration will ever override that principle.
